Satan lives for the purpose of stealing, killing and destroying as many souls as he can. Satan cannot do this to God’s ______, but he does try to steal, kill and destroy the believer’s ____ in the Lord in any way he can.

V. JESUS DIES FOR THE SHEEP 10:11-15

Jesus was identifying Himself as ________ of the Old Testament.

The good Shepherd gave His life __________ in the place of His sheep as a ransom for them so that they might be delivered from death and have _______ life.

Jesus didn’t lay down His life for the fallen angels, but sinful men; and not for men in general, but for His own people in particular. He laid His life down for “the _____,” and not for “the _____.”  Matthew 1:21
